Instructions

Find the location of the flag in the image: image.jpg. Note: Latitude and longitude values are in degrees with no degree symbols,/direction letters, minutes, seconds, or periods. They should only be digits. The flag is not just a set of coordinates - if you think that, keep looking!

Hints

How can images store location data? Perhaps search for GPS info on photos.

Solution

We are still in the real of doable for me. I opened the image in hexedit, my preferred hex editor for windows, and started reading along the right hand side, looking for something off. I found the flag template in there, and copied it into the flag submit bar of the problem. I then continued looking throught hexedit, looking for the GPS data. I could not, and still can not find where it would be, that is something I need to figure out, nontheless, I used http://metapicz.com/#landing to get the latitude and longitude, and substituted the values in the flag.
